2nd Workshop in Grand Parc Miribel Jonage, France on the Knowledge Hub and its Mobile Applications
Building upon the instructive achievements of the 1st Workshop that was organized in 2014, the 2nd Workshop in the Grand Parc Miribel Jonage (Rhône-Alpes area, France) of January 22nd, 2015 tackled further the potential and limits of the ‘Knowledge Hub’.
Indeed, the various stakeholders were introduced to the mobile application linked to the KH on Grand Parc area, and thus learned how to collect the data needed, together with their partners CIME and Sinergise.
Two innovative uses were identified and tested for the Grand Parc Miribel Jonage KH mobile application:
- To plan and prepare the visit in the park, notably through a “virtual tour” accessible to the people;
- To replace the panels and animate the walks in an interactive way so that the visitors can fully engage with the story of the park.
Encouraging enhancement of knowledge through “ecotrail” on KH (with heritage data share on the course) was observed thanks to this Workshop.
A 3rd Workshop will be organized in November 2015 on the theme “local food production and short circuit on the Grand Parc Miribel Jonage?”
